I hadn't had a Bakewell tart in, I don't know, 40 years? I could still capture the taste in my head, and really looked forward to seeing whether these measured up to my memory. They do! They're excellent, fresh and gooey and flaky. This was my second order with BritShop, and they continue to delight me. The box was once again packaged very well -- jars and bottles were padded and secure, and the baked goodies (including the scones, thanks so much!) arrived in pristine condition. I'm still chuffed that I discovered this company!
