A Little Softer Than Usual

I love Rowntree’s Fruit Gums - and have been eating them for years. But this batch of candies seem a little softer than usual (closer to the Rowntree Fruit Pastilles). They still taste fantastic, but part of the joy in eating these was their texture; firmer than the pastilles but not as hard as a midget gem.
